Call Recorder App for Android

We've released another Android app to record all incoming and outgoing calls.
You can get the Call Recorder app here.

This app is quite simple to operate. Just click a button to Activate or Deactivate the call recording function. There is no complicated setting.

But there is one weakness. We cannot guarantee that the call recorder app can work on all Android devices. It works on our testing device but we cannot test all all of them.

All recorded files will be automatically stored in your SD card. For playback, select any recorded files from the Call Listing. You can also manage the files for deletion.

AES Detector for Android

Install this AES detector app from Google Play.
The app actually has 2 main functions:-
1. AES detector
2. Traffic CCTV

In this write up, we'll talk about the AES detector.
The AES locations have already been setup in the database.

As to date, we've incorporated 14 AES locations as announced by JPJ, the Malaysian authority.
But you can add more locations into the database when the authority installs any new AES.
So, whenever the authority relocate or install new AES, you can also do that in the app. haha. You don't have to wait for our updates.

Now, I'm going to show you how to use the app.
Run the app when you start driving and activate the AES detector.

If you are driving within the AES radius, the app will automatically display an alert.

You can choose between:-
1. GPS (more precise but battery consuming)
2. Mobile Network (less precision, faster and less battery consumption)

You can also setup the AES radius distance. The default value is 2 kilometer. If you're driving within the radius range, the app will keep on alerting you. You can choose to turn the speaker on/off.

If you are not sure with the exact location, you can use the map to locate the AES location.

If you're using NFC tag for driving profile, make sure you add the app into the tag.

Although this app has been developed for Malaysian traffic users, it can also be used in other countries. You just need to add the locations into the database.

Cara Mengukur Jarak Menggunakan Kamera Telefon

Kami baru saja release satu Android app untuk mengukur jarak dengan menggunakan kamera telefon. Disini kami akan memberitahu cara menggunakan aplikasi tersebut.

Cara-cara:-
1. Mula-mula, download aplikasi tersebut dari Google Play

2. Install dan run aplikasi tersebut.

3. Dengan memegang telefon anda secara melintang ("Landscape"), mula-mula anggarkan jarak kamera tersebut dari lantai. Anda boleh menggunakan ketinggian anda sebagai panduan.

4. Kemudian fokus kamera anda kepada objek yang dikehendaki seperti gambar di bawah:-

5. Selepas berpuashati dengan fokus, sentuh skrin untuk mendapat ukuran. Sentuh semula untuk kembali mengukur.



NOTA:-

• Telefon anda mesti dipegang dalam kedudukan melintang ("Landscape")
• Bahagian bawah objek mesti berada pada kedudukan yang sama ("same level ground") dengan kedudukan kaki anda.
• Fokus kamera pada bahagian bawah objek. Kalau manusia, fokus pada bahagian kakinya.

Manggis - Distance Calculator Using Camera/GPS

We've just now released another Android application called Manggis. This app is for quick distance calculator or measurement using:-
1. Camera
2. GPS/Network


You can now measure a distance using your phone's camera.To measure a distance using your phone's camera, follow the steps:-
1. Hold up your phone in Landscape orientation. Estimate your phone's distance from the ground level.
2. Then aim the camera at the target. Make sure you aim at the bottom of the object.
3. Tap the screen to get the measurement

However, most probably, you are not going to get 100% accuracy. Because it highly depends on:-
1. The device's distance from ground. So, if your hand moves up or down, it will affect the calculation.
2. Other factors such as the sensor, provider, network connection etc

But this app is suitable if you do not have a proper measuring tool in hand and for quick estimation.

Major Upgrade for MapMe App

We've just release a major upgrade for MapMe application. Basically, this app can perform the following functions:-
1. To locate
2. To navigate

Using your Android device, you can now save your favourite locations in a database. When you run the app, it will first detect your current coordinates. You can then save the coordinates and give it a name.

If you want to navigate to the saved location, select the location from the listing. Using Google Map, it will display a navigator for you.

You can use this app as a car park locator, building locator, street locator or anything that can come to your imagination. This app utilises all the features by Google Map.

The Dark Side of SMS Forwarder

SMS Forwarder is one of our Android application which has been designed and developed with good faith. This app can automatically forwarded any incoming text message to another mobile no when the app is activated. However, it can be manipulated and misused by irresponsible person to invade someone's privacy. This will happen when you install the app in someone's hand-phone without his/her permission.

The purposes can vary from:-

• to monitor children text message
• to catch cheating couple or spouse
• to monitor suspicious or criminal activity

The intention can be good when you're suspecting your beloved family member is behaving towards any immoral or criminal activities. And this can act as a monitoring or preventive tool before anything worse could happened. It can also become a hard evidence for any denial afterwards. But of course this will piss off the victim.

As the developer, we are not aware of any legal implication of this app in your countries. Furthermore, we do not have the budget to engage any legal advisers on this matter. To prevent any untoward blames or wild accusations on us as the developer, this text message forwarder application has been designed not to be 100% stealth. The user can still notice the incoming activation message that will trigger the application.


This text message forwarder has been developed for free and is available for download at Google Play. We did receive several requests for this app customisation but we will have to consider a few factors. Hope you can use it intelligently.

Colorblind Test App

This app is a quick test on your color vision. You'll be given several images which contain number. To get the answer, click on the image at center of the screen.

If you cannot read the number in the images, you're highly recommended to consult your vision care expert for advice.

Locating Email Sender's Location with PingRoid

PingRoid is our Android application which can perform the followings:-
1. Ping servers.
2. Locate IP address by its country, state, town, latitude and longitude.

In this posting, we'll show you how to locate the email sender's location. We'll be using Gmail for this guide. Follow the steps:-

Step 1
Open the email you want to track.

Step 2
Beside the "Reply" icon, click on the "Triangle" icon. It will then list down a list of options.

Step 3
From the options listing, select "Show Original". You can then find the sender's IP address here.

Step 4
Once you get the IP address, you can use the app to locate the sender's location. Run PingRoid app using your Android phone and select "Locator" tab. Enter the IP address and click on "Locate this IP Address" button. The app will then locate the location.

We're using a 3rd party API for this function. However, we notice that sometimes the location may not be 100% accurate or available)
