Android App to Forward Incoming SMS

We've just released an upgraded version of SMS Forwarder app for Android. Use this app to forward any incoming message to another phone using a passcode.

This app is suitable when you accidentally left behind your phone at home or office. To retrieve your incoming message, send the passcode to activate the app. Once activated, your phone will forward any incoming message to the requestor phone.

You can also use this app to monitor your children's text messages but this app has not been designed to be 100% stealth. It was meant for good faith.

Android App for Worldwide Movie Showtime

M2Day is not just an app for RSS reader but also contains an app for worldwide movie showtime. To use the app, go to Google Play to download and install the app. Download here.

When you run the app, the main screen is as follows. Then you must select "Kita Lepak Dulu" from the listing.

Then the following screen will appear. Select "Jom Tengok Wayang" from the listing.

Then the app will start loading and the following screen will appear:-

The default location is Kuala Lumpur but you can change it to your desired location. You can refine your search by "location", "day", "theater" or even by the "movie genre". If you are not sure with theater location, you can use the Map View to locate the theater.

Cuaca is an Android application for Malaysia weather forecast. The app will list down all the forecast for capitals in every states in Malaysia.

To get weather forecast outside Malaysia or in other countries, you can use the search function. Refine your Search by town, state and country to get better result.

Simulating Geo-location With DDMS

You're developing Android location-based application and conduct testing using the emulator.
On Eclipse, you can simulate a change in location or coordinates using DDMS to test if your application react to any onLocationChanged.

To open up DDMS, on Eclipse, go to Window > Open Perspective > Other...
From the available listing, select DDMS. On the left panel, you can view:-
a) Devices and b) Emulator Control

First, select the Device (online emulator), then go to Emulator Control. In Emulator Control, scroll down and look for Location Controls. Enter the Longitude and Latitude and click on Send. You application will automatically reflect the change in map.

CatchYou Android Application Version 2.0

After a long break, we have decided to release an upgrade for CatchYou application. CatchYou is a phone tracker application, in case you have lost, misplaced or get it stolen. And you can also use this application to track your children or family members' whereabout. So, how it works?

Firstly, you need to set the "passcode". This is supposed to be a secret word because whenever your phone receives this "passcode", it will activate the application. Once activated, it will find the device's location using GPS or Network Provider. Then it will SMS the geo-coordinates to the phone ("tracker phone") which has sent the "passcode".

The "tracker phone" will receive a geo-coordinates via SMS and you can open it using map or browser. So, that's how it work. Any problem, just email us at mytikus@gmail.com

SMS Forwarder Application

SMS Bounce is a forwarder application. This android phone application will allow users to forward their SMS to another phone.

This application is useful when you're facing with this situation:-
1. you arrive in the office and realise that you've accidentaly left behind your phone at home
2. you've misplaced your handphone
3. and you're expecting important or urgent message

When you're facing with this situation, just sms a secret passcode to your phone. This will activate the application and it will forward any incoming messages to the phone from which you've requested.

 

Once you're done, make sure to deactivate the forwarder.

CatchYou - Mobile Phone Locator

CatchYou is an application for android phone. It can track the location of the target mobile phone. Useful for:-
1. Lost or stolen handphone.
2. Track the whereabout of your family members, friends or any target phone.

How to use this application:-
1. Install CatchYou app in the target phone.
2. Whenever you want to track the location of the mobile phone, just SMS "locategomoman" to the target phone.
3. Once receiving the passcode, the target phone will automatically find its location using GPS or Network Provider.
4. The target phone will then reply to the tracker phone with its coordinates.
5. The tracker phone can then open the location coordinates using map.

MapMe - Android Application for Map and Navigation

MapMe application for android phone has been upgraded to Version 4.

Now the application has be capability to save your current coordinates. With this feature, the application can act as locator such as car locator etc. The app can gives you direction from your current coordinates to the saved location using Google map.

You can also send your location to your friends for assistance if you are in emergency or lost direction.

The app can get you the mileage from current to the saved location and the estimate traveling time.

To get the location, the app will be using Network Provider as default but you can choose to use GPS for more accuracy.
